  • Patent number: 11845696
Abstract: A dry construction composition is easily wet-sprayable by means of a screw pump, thus forming, after hardening, a durably mechanically resistant insulating material (?<0.1 W·m?1·K?1). The composition contains: —A— at least one binder, itself including: —A1— at least one main binder containing lime and/or at least one alumina source and/or at least one calcium sulfate source, preferably at least one alumina source, —A2— at least one water-retaining agent, and —A3— preferably at least one surfactant; and —B— at least one biosourced filler, preferably of plant origin. The ratio B/A (liters/kg) is between 2 and 9. The composition is intended to be mixed with water in a water/binder ratio —A— of no lower than 0.8. Also disclosed is a wet composition, the preparation thereof, to the binder —A— taken in isolation, and to a method of spraying the composition onto a horizontal or vertical substrate or by molding.

  • Patent number: 11168025
Abstract: The invention concerns a composite system for reinforcing, in particular, structures made from reinforced concrete or masonry comprising a curable or cured matrix and a textile reinforcement grid, and said two elements taken as such. The aim of the invention is for this system to make it possible to produce a cured composite structure having improved mechanical properties, both in the short term and in the long term (e.g. flexing behaviour, hardness, bending/compression resistance, durability, cohesion). This aim is achieved by the system of the invention in which the grid comprises at least one layer formed: —both from a framework consisting of flat warp yarns and weft yarns; —and from a network binding the framework; characterised in that the binding network is such that it ensures the geometric regularity and dimensional stability of the meshes of the framework, before the grid is applied to the structure to be reinforced.

  • Patent number: 10865145
Abstract: A dry construction composition that is easily wet-sprayed by a screw pump to form an insulating and mechanically resistant material after hardening comprises: at least one binder that includes at least one primary binder comprising lime and/or at least one source of alumina and/or at least one source of calcium sulfate, at least one water retention agent, and preferably at least one surfactant; and at least one plant-based bio-based filler based on sunflower stalk and/or corn stalk and/or rape stalk, having a Bulk Density (BD) in kg/m3 that is less than 110. The ratio of the binder to the filler is between 2 and 9 in liters/kg. The composition can be mixed with water in a ratio of water/binder that is greater than or equal to 0.8 to form a wet composition. The wet composition can be sprayed onto a horizontal or vertical substrate or molded to a desired shape.

  • Patent number: 9932489
Abstract: The invention relates to improved non-efflorescing cement-free and water-dispersible powder building material compositions comprising a homopolymer or copolymer as binder, useful for the preparation of wet formulations of plasters grouts, waterproofing coatings or mortars for the construction and the civil engineering industry. The binder is obtained by spray-drying or lyophilization of a dispersion containing a polymer and a protective colloid. These compositions also comprise a deprotection agent and a specific adsorbent filler. The invention also refers to the methods of preparation of these dry compositions and wet formulations, the application of these latter onto the surface of buildings or civil engineering works, the so obtained coatings as well as the so coated elements. The hardened products obtained therefrom are remarkably water-resistant, non efflorescent and easy to obtain.

  • Patent number: 9353009
Abstract: The invention relates to a dry composition for the preparation of a wet formulation for the construction industry. The aim of the invention is to provide a dry composition that results in hardened products for the construction industry having an excellent compromise between its lightweight properties and mechanical properties; optimizing the hydration of the binder; and making possible a stable lightweight property without excessive increase in volume.

  • Patent number: 9193627
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a mixture comprising a mineral binder (a) and at least one SuperAbsorbent Polymer (SAP) (b), in order to improve the thermal insulation characteristics of a hardened product intended for the construction industry, by reducing its thermal conductivity ? (W·m?1·K?1), this hardened product being obtained from a dry composition or a wet formulation comprising this mixture. The dry composition, the wet formulation obtained by mixing this dry composition with water, the methods for preparing this dry composition and the corresponding wet formulation, the hardened construction products obtained from the wet formulation and the structures produced with these products, are other subjects of the invention.
