Abstract: The invention concerns a device for inputting control signals to a peripheral unit. The device is designed to be able to be used in both a first and a second working position. In the first working position it is worn on a first hand of a user. It comprises at least a first input member which functions as a pointer device in said first working position. In the second working position the device is arrangable on a surface and movable across this surface, similar to a standard computer mouse. The device comprises a sensing member (which may or may not be identical with the first input member), which senses the movement of said device in said second working position. The invention also concerns the combination of such a device and a peripheral unit.
