Abstract: Cylindrical pressure vessel with an internal body enclosed by an external body, with a cylindrical section closed by end caps and with the internal body and external body kept separate from each other to avoid a transfer of shear forces, wherein at least one end cap is connected only with the external body and contacts, with an overlap section intruding into the internal body, the inside surface of the internal body, with a seal arranged in the overlap section that contacts an interior circumferential surface of the internal body, and with at least one recess serving as a defined leakage path in case of an expansion of the external body relative to the internal body being arranged on the side of the seal facing away from the interior chamber, in the interior circumferential surface of the internal body that encloses the overlap section of the end cap.

Abstract: A pneumatic cylinder having end position damping of the cylinder piston is controlled by means of a vent path and a control valve, the control valve comprises a control piston, the control side of which is pressurized by a pneumatic pressure which exists in a control chamber. The movement of the control piston into its closing position is pneumatically controlled by the increasing pressure in the damping chamber during the beginning of the damping. No additional components or controls are to be provided, so that the control of the end position damping occurs exclusively by the pressure conditions prevailing at the time when the damping begins.

Abstract: A hydraulic control valve with a main stage, having spool valves movable in a valve housing having at least four ports and provided with control edges formed on piston collars. A hydraulic pilot stage is provided to control the spool valve of the main stage, and is characterized by the fact that the spool valve of the main stage is designed hollow to form the hydraulic pilot stage. The wall of the hollow spool valve has at least one opening, to which a piston collar formed on the pilot valve is assigned with two control edges arranged on the outside, and in which the pilot valve penetrates a thrust plate inserted into the valve housing, enclosing the spool valve and creating a front pressure chamber for the spool valve to form a defined constant outflow path for the hydraulic fluid introduced into the annular space between spool and pilot valves.

Abstract: A separator for liquids, in particular condensate, from liquid-loaded compressed gases-generally serves, by coarse separation of condensate from the compressed gases, to protect downstream prefilters of cold dryers or adsorption dryers against overload due to condensate. In the separator of the invention, in a pot-shaped housing, a separator element in the form of a hollow cylinder is arranged, which consists of a multiplicity of flow chicanes formed from guiding bodies and impact bodies. The moisture-loaded gases are passed from the interior of the hollow cylinder to the exterior via these flow chicanes, condensate separating off on the chicanes and collecting in the collecting space.
