Patent number: 7731463Abstract: A locking device is disclosed for preventing rotation of one component relative to another component to which it is connected. The locking device comprises a locking plate having a component engaging portion to engage one component, A surface of the locking plate is grooved to engage with a grooved surface carried by the other component. One or more fixing holes are provided for one or more fixing members to be passed through, to force the grooved surface of the locking plate into engagement with the grooved surface carried by the other component.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2006Date of Patent: June 8, 2010Assignee: Parker Hannifin plcInventor: Mathew Davis

Patent number: 7490867Abstract: The invention relates to a pipe connector for a pressure-resistant, positive-fit, high pressure screwed joint. The connection includes a formed tube; a screw body or connector branch with a cone, which connects to a parallel axis drilling, with a radial end surface; a union nut; a sealing ring; and a retaining ring. The formed tube has a parallel axis end-piece with the same tube diameter and which corresponds to the depth of the tube seat base. The formed tube has a pronounced head which forms a mating face, with a cone surface of the union nut, and which leads to an abutment face at a front face of the retaining ring, essentially aligned with the tube axis. The retaining ring has a radial ring surface, which, in the assembled state, contacts with the front face of the cone of the connector branch or screw body, and thus permits a block assembly.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2002Date of Patent: February 17, 2009Assignee: Parker Hannifin PLCInventor: Dieter Ehrke

Patent number: 7350829Abstract: A connection system comprising first and second fluid-conducting components, each of which includes a connection face with a fluid port and at least one slot arrangement comprising first and second substantially parallel slots. The slots each include an aperture and first and second tapered surfaces. The system further includes a connector comprising a coupling element with a support and first and second coupling members which extend in substantially parallel relation therefrom, and a slide element moveable between a first, unlocked position in which the connector is movable relative to the fluid-conducting components and a second, locked position in which the slide element engages the fluid-conducting components. The coupling members each include first and second tapered cam surfaces, and first and second cam surfaces.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2004Date of Patent: April 1, 2008Assignee: Parker Hannifin plcInventors: Anthony S.
