Abstract: A rustproofing composition has superior properties satisfying rustproofing quality requirements and workability requirements for car underbodies, parts around tires, parts with pockets, plate-bonded parts or the like of car bodies, and containing volatile organic solvent of 20 mass % or less. In a rustproofing composition containing UV curable resin and photopolymerizing initiator and at least one of rustproofing oil and rustproofing wax, the content of nonvolatile component at 105° C. for 3 hours in the rustproofing oil and rustproofing wax is 80 mass % or more, the UV curable resin and photopolymerizing initiator are dissolved or dispersed in the rustproofing oil and rustproofing wax, and the UV curable resin is contained at 0.3 to 10 weight % to the total weight of the composition.

Abstract: A hinge structure for refuse containers having a body and a top opening and a lid for the opening, in which the lid is attached to the body by a hinge structure having a torque bar therein for assisting in the opening of the lid. The torque bar runs along the back of the lid and has laterally extending ends which engage abutments on the body to apply torque to cause the bar to exert a lifting force to the lid. The ends disengage the abutments after the lid has been opened to a predetermined point so that the lid can be easily and fully opened without the torque bar interfering with the full opening of the lid. The lid can be easily lifted to empty refuse into the container and will fully reclose itself notwithstanding the restraining effect of the torque bar.
Abstract: A gravity bed trailer in which side and end walls and a bottom form a bed with an opening in the rear wall, and the bottom slopes at a substantial angle from a point near the upper edge of the front wall to a point adjacent the lower edge of the opening in the rear wall. A frame supports the bed, which in turn is supported on an undercarriage, and the tongue extends forwardly from the frame near the upper part thereof and supports a fifth wheel mount on the forward end. A sliding door movable in a pair of spaced tracks closes the opening, and a means slides the door upwardly and downwardly to open and close the opening.
Abstract: An undercarriage for farm wagons and similar vehicles in which the frame of the vehicle is mounted on one or more axles by units at each end of the axles, each unit consisting of plates connected to the axle, a plate connected to the frame and a member of elastomeric material bonded to the facing surfaces of the axle and frame plates to form the primary support at each end of the axle for the frame. The elastomeric material may be rubber and is preferably of a parallelogram shape in vertical cross sectional direction with the low vertical side being connected to the axle plate and the high vertical side being connected to the frame plate. Second axle and frame plates may be employed to which the first axle and frame plates are rigidly secured by bolts or other securing means.
