The apparatus according to the invention is characterized in that in addition a device for position determination is provided and a control and evaluation unit is designed to link the data of the sensor with the data of the device for position determination, wherein the sensor is configured to detect at least a distance of 40 meters.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for recording data to produce a localized panoramic image of a street. The apparatus uses a camera and a device for satellite-based position and time determination, as well as a storage unit. A preparation device is provided which encodes time data of the device for satellite-based position and time determination into a format recordable for the camera and forwards this to the camera. The camera is designed to simultaneously record these data and record a continuous film. The storage unit stores the film with the time data as well as position and time data obtained from the device for satellite-based position and time determination. Furthermore, the apparatus operates in accordance with a method for producing a localized panoramic image.

Abstract: The invention relates to a transportable recording apparatus for recording data for a localized panoramic image of a street for detachable mounting in and/or on a vehicle. The transportable recording apparatus has a computing unit, a buffer accumulator, a switch-mode power supply, a camera for recording a continuous film and a fastening device for the camera. Moreover, a device for satellite-based position and time determination as well as an electric power supply device for the electric power supply of the components are provided. The camera, the fastening device and the device for satellite-based position and time determination are designed separately and spatially apart from the computing unit. The transportable recording apparatus can be dismantled into individual parts. Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle with the transportable recording apparatus.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining an occupancy status of a parking bay, wherein a vehicle is moved along a street segment with at least one parking bay and the vehicle has a distance sensor as well as a sensor for satellite-based location and time determination. Furthermore, static parking information on the position of the parking bays in a street segment and parking information on the parking bays are on hand. By means of distance and location data projected distance data are produced which each indicate a distance datum of the distance sensor to the next object in the sensor direction at a point of the street of the street segment at the parking bay. By means of these projected distance data a standard distance is ascertained. Subsequently, for each point of a parking bay the determination is made if this is unoccupied by comparing the distance datum with the standard distance plus a delta.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a spatially highly precise, localized panoramic street image of a street from a continuous film with location information recorded by means of a vehicle, wherein the film contains image data at an angle of 90° to the course of the street, which is referred to as zero position, and has a capture angle of at least 20° in the horizontal. Here, for each frame of the film recording positions are ascertained and afterwards, in an analysis step, the physical distance between the recording positions of a first and a subsequent frame is calculated. Following this, image strips are extracted from the first and the subsequent frame, which correlate with the distance. Furthermore, the invention relates to a system for executing the relevant method according to the invention.
