Patents Assigned to Pascal Kabushiki Kaisha
  • Patent number: 6799767
Abstract: A chuck device includes a first worm gear mechanism linked to a second worm wheel mechanism which operate in tandem to receive, increase, and redirect an input rotational drive force. A conversion mechanism receives and further augments the force from the second worm gear mechanism and converts the drive force into an axial force. The conversion mechanism transfers the axial force symmetrically to a pair of claw members. The claw members move relative to each other and firmly secure a work item to the chuck device.

  • Patent number: 6691994
Abstract: A hydraulic cylinder (4) moves a rod (3) in the direction of the axial center. The interior of a casing member (2) has an annular pressure booster (7) for pressurizing the oil in an external hydraulic chamber (6). The casing member (2) has a pressurized oil feed port (27) for feeding pressurized oil to the rod-moving hydraulic cylinder (4) and the input oil chamber (16) of the pressure booster (7). A throttle valve (8) is interposed in an oil supply channel extending from the pressurized oil feed port (27) to the input oil chamber (16). An oil discharge channel, extending from the input oil chamber (16) to the pressurized oil feed port (27), is provided with a nonreturn valve capable of discharging pressurized oil from the input oil chamber (16). The nonreturn valve (9) is opened when the pressurized oil is discharged through the pressurized oil feed port (27).

  • Patent number: 6599068
Abstract: A tool holder includes a plurality of elastic engagement pieces arrayed along an outer perimeter of a shank. During and after assembly, the elastic engagement pieces elastically abut at least an inner surface of a tapered hole in a main shaft joined to the tool holder and deform slightly in a radial direction. The elastic engagement pieces provide uniform engagement force with the main shaft over a broad surface area. An elastic flange provides additional elastic engagement and easy separation from the main shaft. Together, the elastic engagement pieces and elastic flange reliably engage and securely attach the main shaft to the tool holder while aiding disengagement.

  • Patent number: 6598713
Abstract: A hydraulic intensifier generates a hydraulic pressure which is higher than the input hydraulic pressure generated in the discharge port and the outer periphery hydraulic pressure chamber. The hydraulic intensifier, provided inside a case member, has a discharge part connected with an outer periphery hydraulic pressure chamber. An input port supplies input hydraulic pressure from the exterior to an input oil chamber of hydraulic intensifier. Oil is filled in a sealed manner in outer periphery hydraulic pressure chamber.and discharge part. The hydraulic intensifier is driven by the input hydraulic pressure. The rod is locked by the elastic deformation of a thinned tube part of a sleeve body. A relatively small hydraulic locking device having a relatively high power is achieved. Furthermore, a relatively small hydraulic pressure source having reduced pressure is realized.

  • Patent number: 6443279
Abstract: A clutch-brake device is provided on a driving force delivery system delivering a driving force, inputted to a fly wheel of a mechanical press, to a crank shaft. A stationary member rotationally supports the fly wheel. A rotation shaft has at least one part rotationally supported by the stationary member and transfers the driving force to the crank shaft. A multi-disk clutch is provided between a case member affixed to the fly wheel and a rotation input part of the rotation shaft. A multi-disk brake is provided between the stationary member and the rotation input part of the rotation shaft. A fluid pressure cylinder rotates as a unit with the fly wheel and switching the multi-disk clutch and the multi-disk brake. An output part, on the piston member of the fluid pressure cylinder, delivers the pushing force of the piston member to a clutch plate which rotates as a unit with the case member.

  • Patent number: 6390126
Abstract: A coupling device, having a simple structure, prevents leakage of fluid from an auxiliary valve in a female coupler. The coupling device seals fluid containing air in the female coupler, even in the pressure of the fluid remains or is as low as the ambient pressure level when the male coupler is separated from the female coupler. An annular seal, having integrally formed first and second annular seal elements, is provided in the female coupler. The first annular seal seals between a protruded cylindrical member of the male coupler and a mating cylindrical member of the female coupler. The second annular seal forms a valve body portion of the cylindrical member of the female coupler.

  • Patent number: 6375378
Abstract: Roller member connectors facilitate quick change of tools used by robot hands. Each roller member includes a pair of projections on either side thereof. On the inner surface of each retainer opening, a pair of guide grooves are formed to guide the projections so that they are retained during operation.
