  • Publication number: 20240033794
Abstract: The billet rolling mill comprises two rolls for shaping a blank, each shaping roll being provided with at least one rolling tool and being rotated about an axis of rotation by a drive motor, and a manipulator subassembly for moving the blank with respect to the shaping rolls. The manipulator subassembly comprises a clamp gripping the blank and a carriage moving the clamp at least along a direction of rolling of the blank. The manipulator subassembly comprises a linear motor moving the carriage along the direction of rolling. The direction of rolling is perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rolling tool. The linear motor is configured for accelerating the blank and selectively exerting on the blank, either a tensile force, to extract the blank from a gap defined between the rolling tools, or a braking force, to limit a speed of ejection of the blank.

  • Patent number: 11110499
Abstract: This circular rolling mill has a fixed main frame, a pair of cylindrical rollers, internal and external, to shape internal and external radial faces of an annular part and supported by a first secondary frame mounted on the main frame, as well as a pair of conical rollers, upper and lower, to shape opposite front faces of the part and supported by a second secondary frame mounted on the main frame. At least one rack and pinion assembly moves a roller in translation relative to one of the secondary frames. At least one electric geared motor drives the pinion of the rack and pinion assembly. The electric geared motor is fixedly mounted relative to one of the auxiliary frames. A fluid discharge mechanism is interposed in a kinematic chain for transmitting force between the rack and the roller moved by this rack. The fluid discharge mechanism has at least one variable volume chamber supplied with pressurized fluid and the volume of which varies as a function of the relative position of the roller and of the rack.

  • Patent number: 8883426
Abstract: The use of therapeutically active lipids for organ/tissue-specific enrichment for the treatment of inflammatory, ischemic or degenerative disorders and/or for stimulating a regeneration is arranged and developed such that the lipids are bound on application to carrier molecules for which cell-specific uptake systems in the cells of the organs and/or tissue exist. In addition, a method of producing organ/tissue-specific therapeutically active lipids for treatment of inflammatory, ischemic or degenerative disorders and/or stimulation of a regeneration, in particular for treating inflammatory liver disorders, is claimed, which is arranged and developed such that lysophosphatidylethanolamine (LysoPE) is coupled to the carboxyl group of ursodeoxycholate (UrsoDOCA) converted to an ester to give a LysoPE-DOCA compound.

  • Patent number: 8181798
Abstract: Mobile or stationary working apparatus, in particular a working vehicle, with at least one telescopic extension arm (3) which has two or more extension arm elements (31, 32, 33) which can be moved in relation to one another, with detection means being provided on the extension arm elements (31, 32, 33) and also on a base station, in particular a rotatable trailer of the working vehicle, for detecting the position of the extension arm elements (31, 32, 33) in relation to one another and with respect to the base station, with provision being made, according to the invention, for the detection means to be in the form of radio detection means, with a radio base unit (8) being arranged on the base station and further transponder units (10, 12) being arranged on the extension arm elements (32, 33).

  • Publication number: 20020154071
Abstract: A process and system for display of both motor vehicle operating data and scene images on a monitor located within the visual range of the motor vehicle operator. In particular, the present invention is useful for motor vehicles used in the construction industry. Scene image data is acquired by use of at least one image acquisition device, especially a camera, and the received images are superimposed on the monitor for display with motor vehicle operating data such as motor temperature, oil pressure, etc.
