Abstract: A self-positioning light fixture having an elongated body with a bottom self-righting segment. The elongated body comprises a pair of elongated body portions mateable along a vertical parting plane with components of the light fixture, such as the shock mount for the lamp assembly, an air circulating fan, and counterweights, being retained and supported within the body portions as an incident to assembly and securement of the body portions. The self-righting segment and counterweights are designed for optimally uprighting the fixture from tipped positions with minimum counterweighting and without excessive force or rocking movement of the fixture. Further features of the light fixture include air vent openings in the body that prevent or minimize entry of rain water and contaminants, an easily accessible gripping handle for facilitating movement of the light fixture, and a reflector shield adapted for easy selective positioning about the lamp assembly for the desired light direction.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for vehicle traffic flow data acquisition and reporting for onboard vehicle navigation. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for vehicle traffic flow data acquisition and reporting for onboard vehicle navigation can include acquiring imagery of multiple vehicles traveling on a roadway between two locations and individually identifying the different vehicles in the imagery. An elapsed time of travel can be determined for the individually identified vehicles between the two locations and a rate of travel can be computed for each of the individually identified different vehicles based upon the elapsed time of travel. Thereafter, the rate of travel for at least one of the individually identified different vehicles can be broadcast to a subscriber for at least one of the two locations.

Abstract: A system and method for distributing at least one digital photographic image is presented, the system and method comprising at least one capturing device and at least one receiving device disposed in a communicative relation with one another via at least one wireless network. In particular, the capturing device is structured to capture the at least one digital photographic image via, for example, a capture assembly, whereas the receiving device is cooperatively structured to receive the digital photographic image via, for example, the at least one wireless network. In addition, the capturing device(s) and receiving device(s) may be disposed in a selectively paired relationship via one or more common pre-defined pairing criteria. Further, the at least one digital photographic image may be filtered via at least one pre-defined transfer criteria disposed on the capturing device and/or receiving device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing network resource requests are described herein. Servers may be configured to operate in communication with a network. A server, in accordance with embodiments described in the present disclosure, includes a resource request handling program that is stored in a memory device. The resource request handling program is configured to extract an abbreviated resource request into at least an abbreviated site name and a page symbol. The server also includes a database that is configured to store a first relationship between the abbreviated site name and a web site. The database may also store a second relationship between the page symbol and a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) address of a web page associated with the web site.

Abstract: A method for providing broadband communications over a multi-layer network having a plurality of Open System Interconnection layers. The method stores information in a memory, the information indicating for each of a plurality of communication resources within the multi-layer network, one or more layers of the network with which that communication resource is associated. The method monitors the multi-layer network to detect a quality of service event that has occurred at a first of a plurality of communication resources, and in response to the monitoring, uses the information to determine a layer of the multi-layer network that is associated with the first of the plurality of communication resources. The method responds to the quality of the service event by changing provisioning of the multi-layer network at a layer that is different from the layer of the multi-layer network that is associated with the first of the plurality of communication resources.

Abstract: A data processing system configured for computer visualization of drugs for drug interaction information retrieval is disclosed. For each of multiple different substances and using a camera within the mobile or other computing device, imagery of at least one external characteristic of a physical body of the substance is acquired. An identity of each of the multiple different substances is determined based upon the at least one external characteristic from the acquired imagery. Drug interaction data is retrieved for each of the multiple different substances using the determined identities. Drug interaction data for at least one of the multiple different substances is correlated with at least one other of the multiple different substances. At least one generic substance and/or cost information of at least one of the multiple different substances is identified. The correlated drug interaction data, the at least one generic substance, and/or the cost information are displayed.

Advanced features will thus re-lock if the Password is copied to another ID-target. If a valid Password is not present, the User is invited to obtain one, and provided with the means of doing so, and of installing that Password in a place accessible to the User's System on subsequent occasions. Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus include a clustered charge distribution and prioritized charge distribution system for electric vehicles (EVs). Distributed processing units (DPUs) receive member information about an EV or EV user. A power distribution manager (PDM) is coupled to each of the DPUs. The PDM includes a prioritizer. The prioritizer determines a prioritization for charging the EVs based on the member information received by each of the DPUs. Also disclosed is a method for providing clustered charge distribution and charge prioritization for electric vehicles. The method includes sensing whether power is requested by any one of a plurality of EVs within a cluster, generating individual EV-specific information for the EVs using the DPUs, transmitting the EV-specific information to the PDM, and selecting and applying a prioritization algorithm based at least in part on the transmitted information.
