Abstract: In an internal combustion engine, natural gas is injected through a nozzle (17) into a curved feeding pipe (13), tangentially and in opposite direction to the flow of combustion air. Two nozzles (17) that are spaced apart in the flow direction and that alternately inject the natural gas are preferably used in order to achieve a homogenous distribution of fuel in the fuel-air mixture. A conical stream (21) ensures an impeccable mixture of gas with the totality of supplied air.
