    Abstract: An identity authentication method is applied in a server which stores a relationship among a number of facial images, questions, and facial expressions. Each facial image corresponds to one or more questions. Each question corresponds to one facial expression. The method includes the following steps. Obtaining images captured with an electronic device when the electronic device attempts to login to the server. Determining whether the image comprises a human face matching one stored facial image. If yes, determining one or more questions corresponding to one facial image according to the relationship. Outputting the determined questions and then obtaining user images captured by the electronic device. Identifying the human face and a facial expression of the identified human face. Determining whether the identified facial expression matches the facial expression corresponding to the output question. If yes, determining that the identity authentication is successful.

The control unit further detects whether a speed measurement signal is received from the fan, and enables the second signal output terminal to generate the speed adjusting signal to control the fan, if no speed measurement signal is received.

    Abstract: A method for protecting against fan failure in a server uses a storage unit and a plurality of fans in the server. The method includes the following steps. A rotation speed of each of the plurality of fans is detected. A continuous working time period of each fan is timed. The rotation speed reading and the continuous working time period reading of each fan is compared with predefined rotation speed values and predefined continuous working time periods stored in the storage unit. The results of comparisons are made. A countdown is started when any of the results of comparison falls into one of predefined failure conditions for the fans. Unless a renew or other countdown-amending signal is received, the server is counted down to zero and then shut down. A server equipped to be able to carry out the protecting method is also provided.

    Abstract: In a method for stabilization of an object using an electronic stabilizer device, which includes an electric gyroscope, a driver device and a counterweight device. The method measures orientation data of the object using the electric gyroscope, analyzes the orientation data of the object to obtain a current obliquity of the object, and generates a first control signal to drive the driver device according to the current obliquity when the current obliquity is equal to a reference angle. The method controls the counterweight device to change a center of gravity of the object through the driver device, and measures an adjusted obliquity of the object using the electric gyroscope. The method generates a second control signal to drive the driver device when the adjusted obliquity changes, and controls the counterweight device to dynamically adjust the center of gravity of the object.
