Abstract: A computer-implemented method for interactive information and identification is disclosed, which can be for emergency or non-emergency information. The method includes receiving, by a processor, a notification concerning an emergency (or non-emergency) situation, wherein the notification includes a location of the situation, and defining, by the processor, a geo-fence representing a first physical area surrounding the location of the situation. The method further includes receiving, by the processor, location information representing locations of a plurality of user devices, each user device being associated with an individual, and determining, by the processor, which of the user devices are located within the geo-fence based on the location information. Additionally, the method includes transmitting, by the processor, information about the situation to the user devices located within the geo-fence.

Abstract: A method for secure, beacon-based emergency location is disclosed. The method includes detecting, with an app instance executing on a user device, a signal from a beacon disposed in a geographical location physically proximate to the user device, and transmitting in response to the detecting app instance verification information to the beacon. Further, the method includes receiving, with the app instance executing on the user device, beacon verification information from the beacon, the beacon verification information being based at least partially on the app instance verification information, and transmitting the beacon verification information to an emergency information server.

The methods include a computer-implemented method for interactive emergency visualization that includes receiving a notification concerning an incident associated with a multi-floor structure, requesting location information from a user device geographically associated with the multi-floor structure, and receiving, in response to the request, a beacon identifier from the user device, the beacon identifier being associated with a beacon disposed within the multi-floor structure. The method also includes determining on which floor of the multi-floor structure the user device is located based on the beacon identifier and stored information indicating the location of the beacon and displaying a graphical map of the multi-floor structure and information indicating the specific floor on which the user device is located.
