Patents Assigned to Paul Anderson Industrier AB
  • Patent number: 4173331
Abstract: A method of staying climb rods for co-operation with so-called climbing jacks by utilizing masts, preferably lattice masts, each of which climb rods is capable to carry vertical forces transferred via associated climbing jacks, while horizontal forces acting on the climb rod are transferred to the staying mast. The method comprises the steps of supporting the staying mast pivotally on a footing permitting the mast to pivot slightly in any direction, and attaching the climb rod slidably to the staying mast so as to render possible relative movements in the vertical direction between the rod and the mast. The invention also relates to an arrangement for staying climb rods in accordance with the method set forth.

  • Patent number: 4109975
Abstract: A method of bearing a pivoting member on an axle which member is intended to transmit great forces between two other members. The pivoting member may constitute a load transmitting latch pivotable between an operative and inoperative position. The latch is mounted such that there is only a small clearance between a rear surface thereof and a complenetary surface of the associated holding member. The mounting permits shifting of the latch relative to its associated holding member such that the latch in the operative load carrying position is displaced in the longitudinal direction thereof through such a distance that the load transmitting direct contact engagement is obtained between the surfaces.

  • Patent number: 4092832
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of correcting the height level of a concrete foundation or the like which is supported on a loose soil material. The bearing capacity of the soil material has been locally increased under the foundation by means of an oblong casing which is open at its opposite ends and has been driven down into the ground in order to isolate with respect to lateral movements in the soil masses a predetermined soil volume from the surrounding soil. The correction of the height level is carried out by injecting a moveable material mass beneath the foundation in the isolated soil at such a pressure that the foundation is raised.

  • Patent number: 4053138
Abstract: A method of lifting or lowering of an object by means of a plurality of climbing jacks capable to climb each along a climb rod. The method comprises the steps of staying the rods slidably by means of associated support structures, arranging each rod on a jack, which jacks are held separated from each other from a load point of view, and adjusting the height position of the climb rods in relation to each other by means of the respective jack in order to minimize the stresses in the object caused by the lifting operation.

  • Patent number: 4049237
Abstract: An apparatus for obtaining substantially equal step length of each jack in a group of pressure fluid operated climbing jacks working on a common object for lifting or lowering it. The apparatus comprises at least one compensation jack associated with each climbing jack. The compensation jacks are arranged to transfer substantially the same load as the respective associated climbing jack and to be actuated when the climbing jack has carried out a full stroke without reaching the intended step length, in order thereby to effect a complementary movement of the load.

  • Patent number: 4014266
Abstract: A transport track and a sliding carriage for transporting heavy loads in substantially horizontal direction. The track comprising a bottom plate intended to be positioned loosely on a support capable to bear heavy loads. The upper surface of the plate and the lower surface of the sliding carriage being designed so as to provide minimum resistance to the movement of the sliding carriage over the surface. At least one rod is attached to the bottom plate which rod is adapted for cooperation with a climbing jack intended for moving the carriage and with a guide groove in the carriage for guiding the carriage during the movement. Structure is also arranged for transferring axial forces arising in the rod to the bottom plate.
