Abstract: A method of manufacturing building-wall flexible cladding (12) for a wall of a building so that a cladding outer surface of the building-wall flexible cladding (12) matches or substantially matches a textured wall surface of the wall of the building. This is first achieved by selecting the wall to be modelled (S101) and forming an impression of the wall (S102). An absorbent flexible substrate (18) is provided (S103), and a wet mixture (24) created (S105) and applied to the substrate (18, S106) to form one or more tiles (24a). The wet mixture (24) is textured by applying the impression so that the cladding outer surface corresponds or substantially corresponds to the said textured wall surface (S108). Finally, the textured wet mixture is cured (S109).

Abstract: A method of forming a visible flexible facing layer for creating a visible appearance of a facing wall-surface of a walled structure, comprises the steps of: a] providing a flexible porous support substrate on a support; and b] creating a wet mixture using a powdered aggregate. A further step c] applies the wet mixture to the flexible support substrate using a control template to form a plurality of spaced-apart wall-tile slips which at least in part permeate the flexible porous support substrate; and step d] cures the wall-tile slips to the flexible porous support substrate to form a tile sheet of the visible flexible facing layer. A step e] folds the visible flexible facing layer for storage and/or transportation. A method of matching existing brick-or stone-work of a wall of a building to a visible flexible facing layer, and a visible flexible facing layer are also provided.

Abstract: A flexible cladding wrap for an exterior or interior wall of a building, a building wall panel, and/or a building surface is provided, the flexible cladding wrap comprising a flexible facing layer including a, preferably absorbent and more preferably porous, flexible facing substrate and powdered aggregate bonded to the facing substrate; and a flexible backing layer including a flexible backing substrate to which the facing layer is attached. A system utilizing said flexible cladding wrap to create a continuous aesthetic impression of the building is also provided, in addition to methods of making and using said flexible cladding wrap.
