Abstract: A cover device that houses, protects and safely and economically dispenses an edible product, such as a rolled rawhide. The cover device substantially encases an edible rolled product and effectively prevents the pet from accessing the ends of the product. Relatively small access windows provide chewing access to the edible rolled product. The cover body has a hollow cavity and openings allowing access to the rolled product. The rolled product can be prevented from rotating within the cavity by one or more pin projections extending within the hollow cavity.
