Abstract: An email payment gateway configured to enable users to receive @PAY offers using print media quick response (QR) codes. A consumer views an advertisement or product having packing with a QR code and scans the QR code. Scanning the QR code generates an email addressed to the email payment gateway requesting information on the product, which is sent to the email payment gateway. The email payment gateway receives the email and responds to the consumer with an email that includes information on the products in the advertisement. Included in the email from the email payment gateway is a button enabling the recipient to purchase the relevant item. The button preferably includes a mail-to hyperlink as that generates an outgoing email reply requesting to purchase the product.
Abstract: An email payment gateway may be configured to send emails to customers, including a plurality of mailto hyperlinks. Each mailto hyperlink may be in the form of a graphical user interface button associated with one or more products. Each button generates a return email message when the button is selected. The generated email message may include one or more parameters related to the one or more products associated with the button, such as an identifier of the product, vendor or particular campaign with which the product is associated. The generated email message may then be transmitted to the email payment gateway. The email payment gateway may receive the message and, based on the parameters in the received message, process payment to complete the customer's purchase of the selected product.
Abstract: A donation processing system receives a text message from a donor indicating that they would like to make a donation to a non-profit organization. In response to the text message, a response message indicating the particulars of the donation including the donation amount and the non-profit organization is sent to the user. The donor reviews the information and, if the information is correct, a confirmation message is sent from the donor in response to the response message. The confirmation message confirms the donation. The donation is then made to the non-profit organization in response to the confirmation message.
Abstract: A system for coordinating information from a plurality of websites and using this information to create a dynamic watchlist is provided. The system selectively provides this information to a user. In one embodiment, the system permits a user to access a plurality of websites and identify particular items of those websites that are of interest. The system stores the identified items on a watchlist for later retrieval, review, transmission or action by the user. The system may periodically inform the user of any changes to the items of interest.
