  • Publication number: 20130297425
Abstract: Upon receiving an indication that a user wishes to conduct a financial transaction with an online retailer, the user's identity is determined. Instead of requiring the user to create and log into an account with the online retailer, the user's identity may be determined from an identity framework generated for the user from at least one of a plurality of sessions the user is in. A mobile device identifier, such as a mobile phone number associated with the user's identity framework is then retrieved. The mobile device identifier is then used to complete the financial transaction, providing a measure of security. A one-step or two-step request is transmitted to the mobile device having the associated mobile device identifier to authorize the financial transaction. Upon receiving authorization from the mobile device for the financial transaction, the financial transaction can then be enabled.

  • Publication number: 20130024923
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for mutual authentication of a user and service provider, said method comprising acts of: authenticating an event by a key generation module (KGM), said event is generated on a computing device by a user, sending a shared secret of registered user for the event by an authentication server to the key generation module (KGM), generating one time key by the KGM for the event, transmitting the one time key by appending the shared secret to registered user mobile device, and performing at least one of: authenticating the user for said event by the KGM when a registered user enters the one-time key on the computing device within a predetermined time period, or terminating the event upon receipt of predefined key sequence from the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 6044954
Abstract: A dual function device which provides compressed air for tire inflation and a vacuum machine for cleaning operations at a single location. The air compressor and the vacuum machine are interconnected electrically so that a user may switch back and forth between each function as rapidly as may be required by the user without overloading or stalling the air compressor. A pressure relief valve is also provided in the air compressor outlet pipe to control the air pressure in the outlet pipe, thereby allowing restarts of the air compressor in an unloaded condition. In an alternate embodiment, the air compressor is connected to an air reservior. The timer controls the operation of a solenoid or a vacuum machine. The timer energizes the solenoid, which then opens to provide compressed air from the air reservoir.
