    Abstract: An apparatus is described for cutting coupons from plastic webs. This apparatus includes a circular cutting blade movable into and out of engagement with a cutting surface. The blade and cutting surfaces are each supported so that they are self-aligning. The cutting surface comprises a series of discrete rotatable surfaces which are rotated about the axis of the cutting blade to effect the cut.
