Abstract: A handle configured to be mounted on a pole (e.g., of an IV stand). The handle includes a handle grip having first and second ends with a central section therebetween. The central section is lower than the first and second ends. The handle grip is configured to be gripped by a user at a location between the central section and one of the first and second ends. The handle grip may include first and second sections that each extend upwardly from a central section. The first section is configured to be gripped at a natural grip angle by the user's a right hand and the second section is configured to be gripped at the natural grip angle by the user's a left hand. The handle may include a connector portion configured to be mounted to the pole and connected to the handle grip.

Abstract: A base having legs supported on wheels. A second leg may be positioned between first and third legs and the first leg may be positioned between the second leg and a fourth leg. A first gap is positioned between the second and third legs, and a second gap is positioned between the fourth and first legs. The first and second gaps are configured to at least partially receive a user's first and second feet, respectively. A keyway with a bridge may be defined between the first and second legs. A key that may be formed in a fifth leg is removably receivable inside a like keyway of a like base to thereby interlock the bases together so that they are moveable as a unit. An end portion of the key is positionable underneath a like bridge of the like keyway such that the like bridge limits upward movement of the key.

Abstract: A hook attachment for an IV stand. The attachment has hooks attached to at least one longitudinally extending portion. The hooks are configured to position bags such that their labels are each visible from the same side of the hook attachment. The hooks may include first and second hooks coupled to first and second longitudinally extending portions, respectively. The first and second hooks are configured to have first and second bags, respectively, hung therefrom. The first and second longitudinally extending portions are sufficiently spaced apart vertically to allow the labels of the first and second bags to be visible. The hooks may include front and rear hooks connected to a longitudinally extending body portion. The front and rear hooks have first and second portions, respectively, whereat front and rear bags, respectively, are positioned when hung therefrom. The first portions are below the second portions.

Abstract: A system for engagement and disengagement of carts to form a train of multiple carts. Each cart has a spring-loaded hitch that is held in a storage position when the carts are disengaged. A lever coupled to the hitch is operated to position the hitch for insertion into a receiver pocket of the next cart. A leading edge of the hitch deflects a spring-loaded lockpin. An angled guide member positions the hitch vertically within the pocket so that the lockpin comes into alignment with an aperture in the hitch. When aligned, the lockpin snaps into place and engages the aperture to lock the carts together. The close tolerance of the hitch within the pocket prevents transverse articulation of adjacent carts. Structures within the hitch and the pocket allow slight rotation in a longitudinal articulation axis about the lockpin and torsional articulation of the hitch within the pocket.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a mounting bracket configured to be secured to an underside of a litter. A storage basket is configured to engage ends and sides of a bottle. A movable mechanism couples the storage basket to the mounting bracket, the mechanism being configured for allowing the storage basket to be lowered away from the litter to provide access to the bottle, and allowing the storage basket to be secured against the underside of the litter to restrict movement of the bottle. A latch system is also included to hold the storage basket secured to the underside of the litter. The storage basket is automatically leveled by the movable mechanism when it is lowered away from the litter.
