Abstract: A machine for managing shoots of vines arranged on a trellis, the machine comprising: a frame that has two spaced apart uprights, the frame being arranged to straddle the trellis, each upright supporting a brush that is rotatable to contact shoots extending from the vines; and a drive mechanism for imparting rotational motion to each brush, such that, in use, the brushes rotate on opposing sides of the trellis to contact and remove shoots from the vine as the machine is advanced along the trellis.
