Abstract: A deck for a treadmill includes a continuous belt, and a plurality of rollers engaging the continuous belt. The continuous belt and rollers at least partly define cavity of the deck. The deck also includes a first motor configured to modify a position of the deck relative to a support surface on which the deck is supported, and a second motor configured to modify a speed of rotation of the track. The first motor and the second motor are disposed within the cavity.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media directed to optimizing engagement with a display during digital assistant-performed operations in response to a received command. The digital assistant generates an overlay having user interface elements that present information determined to be relevant to a user based on the received command and contextual data. The overlay is presented over the underlying operations performed on corresponding applications to mask the visible steps of the operations being performed. In this way, the digital assistant optimizes display resources that are typically rendered useless during the processing of digital assistant-performed operations.
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating user interface elements associated with a guided workout are disclosed herein. For example, by analyzing location data associated with a user device, along with digital content corresponding to the guided workout, the system may generate user interface elements including graphical representations, segmented timelines, and performance metrics associated with a user's progress and performance while consuming the guided workout content. These interface elements may be displayed to the user during and/or after the workout and may allow for user interaction to view varying levels of detail associated with the interface elements.

Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of apparatuses for an augmented reality system wherein a wearable augmented reality apparatus may be constructed to have multiple chambers with circuitry elements that are physically and electrically connected. The embodiments may further include a structure for a circuitry chamber that protects sensitive components from external factors. The embodiments may further include arrangements for subsections and components in a wearable augmented reality apparatus that allow for an overall compliant housing while reducing potential shearing force on embedded components.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, with a processor in communication with a first exercise machine, a first request for an exercise class, the first request being provided by a first user of the first exercise machine. The method also includes providing a video file associated with the exercise class to the first exercise machine, providing a notification to a second user indicating that the first user has chosen to participate in the exercise class, and receiving a second request for the exercise class provided by the second user. The method further includes providing the video file to a second exercise machine of the second user via the network. In such a method, display of the video file via a display of the second exercise machine is synchronized with display of the video file via a display of the first exercise machine.

Abstract: The embodiments are directed to operating an exercise device that enables a user to participate in one of multiple network-accessible exercise classes. The embodiments cause a display screen to present the classes for user selection, where the classes are led by multiple instructors and each class is represented on the display as an image that includes its instructor. A selection of one image of a class is accepted via a touchscreen. Packetized data representing the selected class's exercise content is received. The user activity information for the user and for other participants is synchronized to points in time corresponding to that content. The display screen is presented with the selected class's exercise content together with the synchronized activity information for the user and the other participants.

Abstract: A connected fitness platform can determine members are recognized during a live class or other live event, and seamlessly perform actions in response to or along with the recognition. The platform may determine a user or member is being recognized by an instructor or leader of the class/event, such as by tokenizing usernames and utilizing a semantic database to match or identify members represented by the usernames. The platform may then perform actions for the identified members.

Abstract: Various systems and methods that enhance an exercise activity performed by a user are described. In some embodiments, a rowing machine is described. The rowing machine includes devices and/or components that can enhance the user experience of a user performing a rowing activity using the rowing machine, such as during a rowing-based exercise class. For example, the rowing machine can include different sensors that capture information associated with a position or movement of a seat of the rowing machine relative to a position or movement of a handle of the rowing machine and utilize the captured information to perform actions associated with the user performing the rowing activity.

Abstract: Embodiments facilitate the intuitive creation, maintenance, and distribution of action datasets that include computing events or tasks that can be reproduced when a command is received by a digital assistant. The digital assistant can generate new action datasets, on-board new action datasets, and receive new action datasets or updates to existing action datasets locally or via a digital assistant server, among other things. The digital assistant server can also receive action datasets, maintain action datasets, and distribute action datasets to one or more digital assistants, among other things.
Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling users to pause interactive content, such as streamed exercise classes, and return to the classes without compromising their class performance statistics or metrics are described. For example, when a user decides to pause (e.g., they have to quickly handle something), they may have their rank removed from a leaderboard, with the leaderboard passing the ranking to the next user of the activity, while the user is still placed on the leaderboard according to an approximated position or ranking.
