The system includes a processor that controls the CPE to switch connection of a modem of the CPE from one or more inbuilt antennas of the CPE to the plurality of passive patch antennas. The processor controls, based on an instruction from the CPE over an out-of-band control link, the movement of the movable frame to different three-dimensional (3D) position coordinates.

The switch circuit further generates control signals corresponding to the switched plurality of data frames and transmit the control signals to the RF switching fabric.
