Patents Assigned to Pentair Valves & Controls US LP
  • Patent number: 9188231
Abstract: A gate valve sleeve including a reinforced elastomeric valve sleeve member with an integrally molded reinforcing member disposed therein. In one embodiment, the reinforcing member comprises a pair of parallel spaced ring elements connected by a plurality of spacers. In another embodiment, the reinforcing member comprises first and second ring member abutted to form a T-shape. In a further embodiment, the reinforcing member comprises a ring and a plurality of axially oriented spacer members. In yet a further embodiment, the reinforcing member comprises a pair of ring elements connected by a plurality of pins. The pins are fixed to one of the ring elements and are slidably engageable with the other ring element. In an alternate embodiment, an auxiliary ring member is located within an interior opening of the reinforcing member.

  • Patent number: 8702399
Abstract: A Pump consisting of a pressure vessel (50), an inlet nozzle (51), an ejector nozzle (52) by which vacuum and pressure are applied, and an outlet nozzle (53). The inlet and outlet nozzles (51, 52) are selectively closed by interconnected knife gate valves, operated in tandem by a pneumatic cylinder whereby when one valve is closed, the other is open an vice-versa. An ejector valve located in the ejector nozzle (52) alternately creates vacuum and generate air flow through the vessel (50). The air from the ejector is introduced into the discharge line after closure of the outlet valve.

  • Patent number: 8627846
Abstract: A high flow pressure regulator valve is disclosed having an integral pilot valve. The disclosed valve includes a pressure regulating portion including inlet and outlet ports, a valve seat, valve disc and a spring for biasing the valve disc into engagement with the valve seat. The valve also includes a pilot valve portion positioned on the flow regulating portion. The pilot valve portion includes a pilot spring, a diaphragm and a pusher post. One end of the pusher post is positioned toward the diaphragm and a second end is disposed within an annulus region. The valve further includes a pressure path that enables selective fluid communication between the outlet port, the annulus, an inner chamber region disposed beneath the diaphragm, and an intermediate chamber disposed above the valve disc. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

  • Patent number: 8517043
Abstract: An adjustable economizer valve is disclosed that does not overlap the pressure build function, which allows a single valve to be used for both high and low gas use applications. The valve will economize well and reduces system pressure when needed in low use applications. The valve also provides maximum pressure build capacity when needed in high gas use applications. The valve seals off the pressure build outlet from the economizer connection with a seal around a pusher post disposed in the valve body. The pusher post has an internal flow path that is sealed by a floating device that can create a seal from diaphragm pressure and can open when diaphragm pressure is removed. In exemplary, non-limiting, embodiments, the floating device can be a ball or a disc plate.

  • Patent number: 8397386
Abstract: A valve assembly preferably including a housing having a recess and a flange face and a valve sleeve disposed within the recess. The sleeve preferably includes an annulus having an outer surface and an inner surface that defines a passageway about a central axis, the outer and inner surfaces being radially spaced from one another to define a wall. The wall has a first end portion and a second end portion axially spaced from the first end portion, and homogenous material properties from the first end portion to the second end portion. Preferably, the first end portion defines a lip for supporting the annulus in the recess and further defines a first chamber that encases at least a portion of a first support member. The second end portion preferably defines a flange portion along the outer surface for engaging the flange and further defines a second chamber that encases at least a portion of a second support member.
