    Abstract: A container lock pin system for automatically connecting a container to a vehicle. During loading of a container onto the transport vehicle, a lever is actuated to cause a lock pin to engage the container. The lock pin extends into a bore in the container. A biasing mechanism causes the lock pin to disengage from the container when the container is hoisted from the vehicle.
