The center pivot structure may have a center pivot axis. The field may be a poultry and/or livestock grazing field. The circular grazing system for poultry and/or livestock may include an enclosure for containing poultry and/or livestock. The enclosure may extend generally radially from the center pivot structure to a circumference of the field. The enclosure may be rotably coupled to the center pivot structure such that the enclosure rotates around the center pivot axis.

Abstract: An at least partially floorless semirigid poultry enclosure configured to flex and/or adjust to accommodate undulating terrain during movement across a field. The semirigid poultry enclosure may comprise a semirigid foundation. The semirigid foundation may include one or more flexible joints disposed between two or more rigid structural elements. The semirigid poultry enclosure may include multiple wall barriers coupled to the semirigid foundation. The semirigid poultry enclosure may include a roof barrier coupled to one or more of the multiple wall barriers and/or the semirigid foundation. Multiple wheels may be coupled to the semirigid foundation to facilitate movement of the semirigid poultry enclosure, wherein poultry within the semirigid poultry enclosure have access to the field from within the enclosure.

Abstract: A package for a food product comprises a container that has two sealed containment sections separated by a central portion located between the two containment sections. The container is adapted to be folded at the central portion, and a band that is separate from the container encircles the central portion. The circumference of the band provides a space between the band and the outer surface of the central portion that is large enough for a person's hand to be placed between the band and the central portion, and grasp the band. An assembled food product package comprises the package and two food product portions individually contained within each containment section. A method of making an assembled food product package comprises sealing two food product portions in the two containment sections and applying a band around the central portion.

Abstract: A multi-bird poultry shackle includes a stanchion having a connection point adapted to couple to a conveyor; a first shackle coupled to the stanchion, the first shackle having a first pair of leg loops adapted to hold the legs of a first bird, and a second pair of leg loops adapted to hold the legs of a second bird; a second shackle coupled to the stanchion below the first shackle, the second shackle having a third pair of leg loops adapted to hold the legs of a third bird, and a fourth pair of leg loops adapted to hold the legs of a fourth bird; and a third shackle coupled to the stanchion below the second shackle, the third shackle having a fifth pair of leg loops adapted to hold the legs of a fifth bird, and a sixth pair of leg loops adapted to hold the legs of a sixth bird. A method of conveying poultry carcasses is also described.

Abstract: A square area measurement tool includes a plurality of vertical panels, each of which is connected to two other panels on opposing ends, configured perpendicularly, and independently movable relative to the other panels. A primary ruled component on a planar surface of at least two of the vertical panels provides measurements in two dimensions of an object within the measurement tool. The panels are connected to one another by a connection knob for engaging a connection knob retaining slot of an adjacent panel. A method for measuring an object involves inserting the object into a measurement tool and sliding the panels toward each other until the vertical panels contact the object. A method for determining a minimum footprint of a plurality of products comprises inserting at least two products in various relative orientations in the measurement tool and measuring the orientations until a smallest square area is identified.
