Patents Assigned to Perfluktiv Technik AG
  • Patent number: 4752359
Abstract: Active form coke is made from coal by passing the coal granulate downwardly through a preheating and pyrolysis zone, a heating zone, an aftertreatment zone and a cooling zone by moving respective grate bars of grates in each zone so that a bed of granules on one grate trickles uniformly onto the next lower grate. In the preheating, heating and aftertreatment zone CO.sub.2 or steam are passed through the beds by laterally introducing the gas at one side and withdrawing the gas on the opposite side of a respective bed.

  • Patent number: 4741889
Abstract: In the process for reducing the noxious substance contents of flue gas, particularly flue gas desulphuration by dry process, the adsorber (1) and/or the regenerator (2) are built like a shaft. Active coke is introduced in the shaft in plane heaps with free intervals between each other: the coke is transported batchwise from top to bottom and is traversed by the flue gas. The heaps are supported by grates (6) of which the bars may come out at least partially from the grate plane so as to disintegrate the heaps and to bring them to the following stage in the form of a trickling flow, so that a constant thickness with respect to the cross-section is maintained. The infeed and evacuation of the flue gas with shaft-like absorber (1), respectively the gas streams in a shaft-like regenerator (2) are carried out in such a way that at least a preponderant number of heaps is traversed from bottom to top. Optionally it is possible to provide in the adsorber a mixture with NH.sub.3 gas in order to denitrify the flue gas.

  • Patent number: 4703032
Abstract: The granulates of active coke produced from pit coal have an inactive abrasion-proof core based on coal or a ceramic material, as well as an envelope based on active coke particles adhering to the core. Various processes for producing said granulates are disclosed. In one embodiment, a ground coal covering is applied to the core before activation; another embodiment provides for the application of a covering based on coke particles already activated. In a third embodiment, on the inactive core based on swollen and burned material there is first provided an intermediary layer based on a material which volatilizes partly during the carbonizing treatment in order to compensate for the expansion differences of the core and of the envelope.
