Abstract: A system, method, and computer program are provided for providing a multi-merchant electronic shopping cart within a web browser. The shopping cart can be used at a plurality of unrelated merchant shopping sites and remains within the browser regardless of the displayed website. When a user selects the shopping cart, a user interface is displayed with information about a product on the website without navigating to a new webpage. If the product has options, the user is able to select for the options via the user interface. The user is also able to save products from a plurality of shopping sites to the shopping cart or purchase products from the shopping cart at one time. For each product to be purchased, a purchase transaction is conducted, on behalf of the user, with the merchant associated with the website from which the user added the product to the shopping cart.
Abstract: Where the loss of volatile organics during storage of high gravity oil is minimized by forming a flowable or pumpable gel in the high gravity oil, (and/or condensates and distillates), as they are introduced to a storage vessel, the gel is broken by the addition of a small amount of an amine/formaldehyde reaction product, which may be either a triazine or a mixture of non-triazine reaction products. The previously gelled hydrocarbon may then by more readily moved by draining or pumping into a pipeline.

Abstract: A grease for use in fluid bearings can be made by combining a synthetic oil and a paraffinic wax. The grease can adhere to polymeric surfaces on bearings such as PTFE and can improve service life in high speed bearings such as those used in electric motors.
Abstract: A collapsible shelter includes an improved attachment of the roof poles to the legs. A shelter frame has a leg at each corner. Each leg may have an angled top edge or surface. A scissor assembly attaches adjacent legs to each other. An offset link pivotally attaches the roof poles to the legs, adjacent to the top of each leg. The roof poles can be rigidly attached to the offset link. Extension poles are attached to the roof poles with a bungee or similar elastic element.

Abstract: Discloses herein is a catalytic process for producing organohalosilane monomers from a high-boiling residue resulting from the Direct Reaction of an organohalide with silicon. The high-boiling residue contains more conventionally cleavable compounds than conventionally uncleavable compounds. The process includes heating the residue in the presence of a catalyst comprising (1) one or more heterocyclic amines and/or one or more heterocyclic ammonium halides, and (2) one or more quaternary Group 15 onium compounds.
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of polyorganosiloxanes having ionic groups and reactive functional groups includes (a) conversion of a low molecular weight aralkylene modified polysiloxane to a corresponding sulfonic acid functional material by treating the low molecular weight aralkylene modified polysiloxane with a sulfonating agent; (b) subjecting the reaction product obtained in step (a) to an equilibration reaction with an acid catalyzed ring opening polymerization-effective polyorganosiloxane; and (c) subjecting the reaction product obtained in step (b) to a hydrosilylation reaction with an unsaturated hydrocarbon containing at least one epoxy group, an unsaturated hydrocarbon containing at least two unsaturation moieties, an unsaturated hydrocarbon containing at least one sulfur heteroatom, an unsaturated hydrocarbon containing a monovalent organosilane group, an unsaturated hydrocarbon containing one hydroxyl containing group, an unsaturated hydrocarbon containing one or more of a halogen, carboxylate,
Abstract: A gearbox transmits rotational movement from a driving member to a driven member. The gearbox includes a pinion gear disposed inside a housing. The gear defines an axial bore and rotates in response to rotation of the driving member. An output member extends through the axial bore and engages therewith such that the output member rotates in response to rotation of the gear. The output member extends to a position outside the housing to rotate the driven member. A clamping nut is threadably coupled to the output member and abuts the gear thereby retaining the output member and the gear together. A bearing is disposed radially between the gear and the housing. The bearing rotatably supports the gear and the output member.
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and compositions for enhancing pastas by the addition of phosphate salts. The addition of phosphate salts and blends of phosphate salt has been found to improve properties such as texture and firmness. The addition of phosphate salts has also been found to reduce the need for additional ingredients such as egg whites or other additives.
