  • Patent number: 5667678
Abstract: A one-piece plastic injection molded filter housing having first and second open ends, the first end being threaded to receive a separate water collection bowl, and the second end including an external annular recess. An injection molded end plate member includes a circumferential annular flange with an interior annular rib formed thereon, and an inward annular projection with an external thread formed thereon. Opposing, one-piece plastic upper and lower end caps include spaced flanges to receive the respective ends of a filter media therebetween. The upper end cap also includes an upper annular projection that has an internal thread. A hollow plastic molded center tube is used inside a cylindrical paper media. The upper end cap is screwed into the end plate member via the corresponding threads. The rib has an inner diameter less than the outer diameter of the second end of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4823914
Abstract: A monitor system for use with a plurality of segregated groups of controls, each group having corresponding status control lines indicative of the operational status of an elevator, an escalator, or the like. The monitor system includes a series of monitor devices for responding to the status control lines. Each one of the monitor devices corresponds to an individual one of the group of controls, for diagnosing the operational problems associated therewith. A computing device is located remotely from the groups of controls, for monitoring them remotely and continuously. A plurality of individual single communication links correspond individually to one of the monitor devices, for facilitating connection selectively and individually of the monitor devices to the remote computing device.

  • Patent number: 4813436
Abstract: A motion analysis system and apparatus incorporates markers which are secured at various joints of the subject's body as well as pressure sensitive shoes or insoles which are worn by the subject. The subject is caused to perform motion such as walking or running. While performing this motion, the subject is televised by means of two video cameras. The video signal from the cameras is stored by means of video recorders and then processed on a frame-to-frame basis to provide digitized data. The pressure sensitive insoles provide signals which are processed according to analog to digital conversion techniques whereby a display is also provided which indicates the pressure applied to the subject's foot while performing.

  • Patent number: 4699519
Abstract: A grain temperature monitor for use with one or more grain bins, the monitor including one or more temperature sensors, an analog sensor indicator unit, and a non-analog sensor indicator unit. The analog sensor indicator unit provides a signal when one or more of the temperature sensors senses a temperature in the monitored grain that equals or exceeds a predetermined reference temperature. In addition, an operator controllable switch can be manipulated to determine the approximate temperature of the highest sensed temperature. The non-analog sensor indicator unit provides a visual indication as to which of the temperature sensors then currently senses the highest temperature, without regard as to whether such sensed temperature exceeds the predetermined temperature threshold or not.
