Abstract: A device and/or system for use in evaluation, transportation or storage of a donor heart, wherein the device comprises: a number of flexible membranes forming a sterile field around the heart; a first connector adapted to be attached into the membranes and a second connector attached with the membranes; wherein the first connector is adapted to secure and engage the aorta of the heart; and wherein the heart is partially suspended by the first connector.
