Abstract: A computer key includes first and second linking frames interconnecting pivotally a base plate and a push button. The first and second linking frames are connected pivotally at first and second linking arms thereof. Each of the second linking arms has a pin member extending outwardly and transversely therefrom, and a second transverse axle connected thereto. Each of the first linking arms has a first transverse axle connected thereto, and an elongated slot extending in a longitudinal direction thereof. Each of the first linking arms further has a protrusion projecting from an internal wall of the elongated slot to form left and right sections longitudinally of the elongated slot.
Abstract: A foldable data input device includes a keyboard, a hinge device and a lid. The keyboard is formed with a top face and opposing first and second side edges and has a plurality of keys mounted on the top face and a signal transmission device mounted on the keyboard. The lid is connected pivotally to the first side edge of the keyboard by the hinge device in order to cover the top face of the keyboard. The lid further has an inside face for confronting the top face, a touch pad and selection buttons provided on the inside face.
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly is used to connect first and second flexible connecting strips of a film circuitry and a main circuit board. Each of the first and second flexible connecting strips has a flat end portion and a plurality of electrical terminals formed on one of the opposite side faces of the flat end portion. The electrical connector assembly includes an inverted U-shaped clip member and a connector board. The inverted U-shaped clip member has first and second leg portions. The first leg portion is integrally formed with the flat end portion of the first flexible connecting strip. The second leg portion is connected adhesively to the flat end portion of the second flexible connecting strip. The connector board has a plurality of conductive members formed on two opposed side faces of the connector board, and a mating portion for connecting electrically the conductive members to the main circuit board.
