The method also includes receiving selection of a position on the displayed electronic image at which the selected information is to be added and adding the selected information at the position on the displayed electronic image.

Abstract: A method of utilizing data extracted from an electronic image includes receiving an electronic image associated with a subclient and receiving a plurality of data extracted from the electronic image and organized into predefined fields associated with the subclient. The method also includes displaying the electronic image in a first portion of a user interface and, in a second portion of the user interface, a field table containing the plurality of data and associated field names.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a project-management method includes implementing, on a server computer having a processor and memory, a universal framework for engaging projects within an enterprise. The project-management method further includes optimizing, via the server computer, at least one project via an integration of a standardized set of process-related project-management assets, a standardized set of project-management assets related to at least one of selecting, assigning, developing, certifying, and managing human resources involved in project management, and a standardized set of project-management assets comprising a plurality of technological tools.

Abstract: A method of extracting and organizing data from electronic images includes processing a set of data fields representative of data to be extracted, mapping at least a subset of the set of data fields to at least one subclient, and attaching a rule from a set of rules to at least one of the mapped data fields. Each rule in the set of rules represents a transformation from a first data format to a preferred data format. The method also includes extracting data from at least one electronic image for the at least one subclient into the plurality of mapped data fields using the attached rule and storing the extracted data.

Abstract: A method and system reducing tier-to-tier movement of data in a multi-tiered architecture is disclosed. Rules from a first tier of the architecture are converted to SQL and transferred to a second tier that stores data.

Abstract: A system and method for consolidating edits that facilitate alteration of information of a medical claim. The method includes accessing an edit list. Words of two or more edits of the edit list to determine similarity therebetween may be compared. A new edit based on the similarity between the edits may be formed. In one embodiment, the similarity may be semantic similarity. The method may further include computing a value indicative of the degree of similarity of the words of the edits. Objects may be utilized in the process of consolidating the edits.

Abstract: A web-based system for collecting and managing administrative details of a member in a managed care organization. The system collects and makes available over the Internet to all concerned parties digital information that can be selectively retrieved, viewed and managed by all authorized participants. This information, for example, includes the personal demographic details concerning the member and their eligible dependents, their plan elections and preferences, and their benefits usage history. The aggregated information is stored in a central database, using a “member account” paradigm. The member supplies the base information for the member account at initial enrollment in a health plan, either directly through the Internet or through an interface to their employer's human resources data system. Such information is then available to be shared via the Internet with a health provider, new employer or health insurance plan, or for the member themselves.

Abstract: An enterprise framework for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is disclosed. The enterprise framework is utilized for creating, replacing, or modifying services on the SOA without modifying core code. With the framework, a service client may access services provided by the SOA via any middleware available now or in the future by utilizing auto-generation of middleware bindings via templates.

Abstract: A method of calculating probability of collision by birds within a wind park includes modeling a wind turbine to create a wind-turbine model, modeling a challenged bird to create a challenged-bird model, modeling a wind park to create a wind-park model, the wind park comprising at least one of the wind turbine, and calculating a probability of wind-turbine collision by the challenged bird. The step of calculating includes using the wind-turbine model, the challenged-bird model, and the wind-park model. A method for calculating a probability of collision by animals other than birds with structures including, but not limited to, wind turbines, is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method and system for assessing risk of a change proposal on a project development, and effectiveness of a service provider to satisfy a client. The method for assessing risk may include receiving the change proposal requesting one or more amendments to be performed on the project. One or more elements of the project potentially affected upon the change proposal being approved may be identified based on the amendment(s) of the change proposal. Metric(s) indicative of the potential effects on the project based on the identified element(s) may be generated. The method for determining effectiveness may include receiving change proposals. A frequency of receipt of the change proposals being received during the course of the project may be monitored to determine effectiveness of the service provider in satisfying the client.

Abstract: A method and system for providing security to a client computing system in communication with a host communication system across a network. The method includes executing a browser on the client computing system. A request to download data to be displayed in the browser may be communicated from the client to the host computing system. The data is downloaded from the host computing system to the client computing system via a client side firewall in response to the download request. An interactive software application is loaded in the browser, where the interactive software application utilizes the data downloaded from the host computing system. The interactive software application is executed in the browser on the client computing system, and may be in communication with at least one element, such as a browser or an element of an underlying architecture of a software application, on the client side of the client side firewall.

Abstract: A system and method for determining the stability of a project. One embodiment includes computing at least two project progress parameters of a project for numerically describing elements of the project. Regression parameters are computed based upon the project progress parameters and correlation coefficients are computed utilizing the regression parameters. The correlation coefficients describe the strength of the correlation of the project progress parameters for indicating the stability of the project as project develops.

Abstract: A system and method that facilitates the modeling of an architecture through XML configuration is presented. Using this system and method, system developers that are developing a modeled architecture may, before system implementation begins, visualize and understand the system architecture and behavior. Similarly, during the development and deployment phases, developers may monitor different graphical views and/or the controller implementation in order to determine the look and/or feel of the application. Accordingly, different view and/or controller implementations may be plugged into the present invention to give a different look and/or feel. The application may also be adapted to any system that uses any middleware or protocol to communicate.
