    Abstract: A backrest for use with devices having cycle-type seats mounted on support posts, such as exercise machines, bicycles, tricycles, stools and the like, in which the back support is pivotally attached to a support frame and the support frame is selectably adjustable in height and in angle with respect to the seat of said machine. The support frame is adjustably secured to a yoke which in turn is clamped to the support post of the seat.
