Patent number: 11691530Abstract: A mobile power station for the purpose of recharging electric vehicles is provided. The charging station includes separate, but different, types of electrical generation capabilities. For example, the charging station may include two or more of: wind power, solar power and power generated from suspension mounted oscillators, which charge its battery pack over land. If desired, the mobile power station can be amphibious, as well, with the ability to navigate small and large bodies of water.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2020Date of Patent: July 4, 2023Assignee: Pet Projects, Inc.Inventor: Thomas Duran Merritt

Publication number: 20220031060Abstract: Disclosed is a toothbrush with oligodynamic properties. This is achieved with a small current produced as a result of the dissimilar materials from which it is constructed. A small piece of zinc metal. attached to the device at a specified location acts as a sacrificial anode in order for any corrosion which will naturally occur, to occur at the replaceable anode, and nowhere else on the toothbrush. The bristles of the tooth brush are much longer than those of a conventional toothbrush in order to spend a longer period of time in contact with the teeth and gums thereby causing the desired effect to be more pronounced.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 16, 2021Publication date: February 3, 2022Applicant: Pet Projects Inc.Inventor: Thomas Duran Merritt

Patent number: 8454713Abstract: A method for producing natural gas is provided. a gas dynamic laser is powered by a gas, such as carbon dioxide, while the same gas is converted by a catalytic converter heated by the beam of the laser. Other gases can be formed simultaneously in other catalytic converters heated by the laser beam. The resulting converted gases can be used to produce a fuel gas. Excess heat and/or by-products of the process can be used to produce electricity.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2011Date of Patent: June 4, 2013Assignee: Pet Projects Inc.Inventor: Thomas Merritt

Patent number: 8263026Abstract: A system and method for producing a fuel gas is provided. In particular, a combustion product of an internal combustion engine is converted by a catalytic converter heated by the beam of the laser to a subject component of a fuel gas. Other gases can be formed simultaneously in other catalytic converters heated by the laser beam. The resulting converted gases can be used to produce a fuel gas which can be stored and/or used to further fuel the internal combustion engine.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2009Date of Patent: September 11, 2012Assignee: Pet Projects Inc.Inventor: Thomas Merritt

Publication number: 20120222437Abstract: A system and method for producing water from ambient moisture using an absorption chiller is provided. A portion of the chilled water coil is exposed to the air and the system is configured to collect and/or store for later use, water formed from atmospheric moisture condensing on this portion of the chilled water coil.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 1, 2012Publication date: September 6, 2012Applicant: PET PROJECTS, INC.Inventor: THOMAS D. MERRITT

Patent number: 7926198Abstract: A handheld dryer having low power consumption is provided. A fan operates to cause air to be drawn into the housing of the dryer, creating an airstream of substantial velocity that is forced through a heater assembly. The heater assembly includes two Peltier thermoelectric modules in thermal communication with a plurality of heat sinks. The airstream generated by the fan passes through the heat sinks to remove the heat therefrom, and is, in turn, heated. The passage of the airstream through the dryer housing results in each thermoelectric module operating at essentially a zero temperature differential between its hot and cold face. Resultantly, hot air is discharged from the handheld dryer, which can be used to dry hair or other objects.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 2008Date of Patent: April 19, 2011Assignee: Pet ProjectsInventor: Thomas Merritt

Patent number: 7252806Abstract: An apparatus and method of converting flue gases produced by a fossil fuel burning furnace boiler is disclosed. The flue gas is separated into its constituent parts by cooling and filtering. Carbon dioxide, the main constituent, is then converted to carbon monoxide in a laser powered gas converter in which carbon is a catalyst. The laser powered converter also produces hydrogen from steam, and the two newly produced gases are chemically combined to produce a hydrocarbon fuel product which can then be burned in the furnace boiler. In this manner no harmful greenhouse gases are permitted to escape to the atmosphere.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 1999Date of Patent: August 7, 2007Assignee: Pet Projects Inc.Inventor: Thomas D.
