Patent number: 9611959Abstract: A coupling device for releasably connecting fluid-carrying duct ends of ducts is provided. The duct ends, respectively, each carry a jacket having at least two annular ribs housing a first annular sealing element. The first annular sealing element is engaged by the inner shell. The coupling device includes an outer shell that has radially inward extending ribs or rib portions, which are either arranged in an axial distance with respect to a further annular rib of the jackets or engage an axial recess provided on the jackets defined between the further annular rib and a fourth annular rib.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2012Date of Patent: April 4, 2017Assignee: PFW Aerospace AGInventors: Juergen Hartmann, Andreas Kaufmann, Stefan Gelbrich, Caroline Kauffmann

Publication number: 20150091214Abstract: A method for producing a bent pipe from thermoplastic material with end cross-sections, central points of which have in relation to one another a positional tolerance on the basis of LN xy/JAR xy/FAR xy in relation to one another. A straight pipe element is introduced into a tool and a portion of the straight pipe element is heated that is located in the bending region to a temperature which lies above a glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic material by a first temperature value. The straight pipe element is bent about the heated bending region of the tool by a freely selectable bending angle, which has a spatial alignment in an XYZ system of coordinates that is fixed with respect to the pipe. The pipe is then cooled below the glass transition temperature by a second temperature value.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 5, 2014Publication date: April 2, 2015Applicant: PFW AEROSPACE AGInventors: Juergen Knebl, Peter Luettmann, Michael Groel

Patent number: 7926762Abstract: The invention relates to a cargo-hold floor for aircraft which is received on a grid structure (1). The grid structure (1) comprises essentially longitudinal members (2) and crossmembers (3). Exchangeably arranged floor plates (80), furthermore roller conveyor apparatuses (50) and lashing points (10) for the fastening of cargo articles, such as pallets, containers or vehicles, are received on the grid structure (1). Furthermore, locking units (98) are provided, which comprise lock elements (100) capable of being folded open and of being folded away. The lashing points (10) are located at the intersection points of the longitudinal members (2) and of the crossmembers (3). The roller conveyor apparatuses (50) and the locking units (98) are always located at the same installation location both in their erected position and in their countersunk drive-over and stowage position.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2005Date of Patent: April 19, 2011Assignee: PFW Aerospace AGInventors: Axel Oetken, Berthold Eitzenberger
