Abstract: An improved walker includes an adjustable frame with angled portions that provide an ergonomic interface and enhanced stability for a user. The front of the walker includes a wishbone front support frame. Rather than incorporating multiple front legs extending from the top of the walker to the floor, the wishbone front support frame provides clearance on either side of a center front column. This clearance allows users to position, or maneuver, the walker close to adjacent objects. The handrail portions of the walker are pitched at a downward angle running in a direction from the rear to the front of the walker. This pitch moves the operating position of the user close to the front of walker providing a safe and stable operating position.

Abstract: An improved toilet seat includes an upper body includes an upper sitting surface; a lower body coupled with the upper body, where the lower body includes a lower contact surface; and at least one slideable clamp positioned between the upper sitting surface and the lower contact surface, where the at least one slideable clamp includes a clamp arm and clamp paddle coupled to the clamp arm, and where the clamp arm is configured to move between a first position and a second position.

Abstract: A system and method for obtaining prior authorization and fulfilling a prescription is described. The method includes receiving, by a computing device, prescription information for a patient from a prescriber; identifying, by the computing device, an electronic health record associated with the patient; collecting, by the computing device, medical information for the patient related to the prescription from the electronic health record; submitting, by the computing device, a claim for the prescription with a payor associated with the patient; and completing, by the computing device, a prior authorization request for the prescription.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying health data associated with a health activity and processing the health data based on protected health information control for secure viewing and communication are provided. The method includes: detecting, by one or more processors, a health activity from a hardware device accessed by a user; identifying, by the one or more processors, health data associated with the health activity; identifying, by the one or more processors, a task to be performed based on the health activity; determining, by the one or more processors, whether the user is an authorized user based on a protected health information control unit; and responsive to the user being authorized, performing the task using the health data for the authorized user.

Abstract: The techniques described in this disclosure relate to methods and systems for generating a model profile to identify opportunities to, for example, initiate dialogue between a pharmacy and a patient. The techniques include a method comprising generating a model profile to identify at least one discrete opportunity to initiate dialogue with a patient; analyzing a patient profile associated with a patient to determine whether the patient profile fits the model profile; determining that the patient profile fits the model profile; and sending a message to the patient.

Abstract: A medication administration and verification system includes scanning a code for a cavity of a multi-dose package to identify at least one previously prescribed medication determined at a time of packaging the at least one previously prescribed medication in the cavity. A list is received in response to the electronically encoded package identifier for at least one currently prescribed medication. At least one visual indicator is displayed respectively corresponding to the at least one currently prescribed medication for the patient for administration during the medication administration event, and a presence or exclusion of each of the currently prescribed medication in the cavity is automatically confirmed for the presence or the exclusion of in the cavity.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for a numeric waiting bin for prescription fulfillment. A computing system may be used to receive bin configuration values corresponding to a plurality of physical bins for prescription storage. The bin configuration values may be used to assign serial identifiers to the plurality of bins. Prescriptions may be selectively assigned a bin serial identifier using a plurality of rules and the bin serial number may be used to locate the prescription when the prescription is requested, such as during pickup.

Abstract: An improved shower chair having washdown surfaces, reconfigurable arrangements, and enhanced safety features. The shower chair includes a backrest that removably attaches to an underside of the shower chair offset from, and arranged below, a seat pan. Removing the backrest exposes an upper support crossbar that runs from one side of the shower chair to the other. The washdown surfaces include a sloped surface arranged in the seat pan that is angled downward from a front of the shower chair toward a rear of the shower chair and a sloped surface arranged in the backrest of the shower chair angled from a rear of the shower chair toward a front of the shower chair under the seat pan. The washdown surfaces provide an unrestricted fluid flow path running from the seat pan to the backrest and then to the floor.

Abstract: A system and method configured to generate a simulated caller dialog including a caller intended issue for a scenario for testing a customer service representative (CSR). A simulated caller dialog is presented to the CSR and a CSR response to the simulated caller dialog is received and includes a CSR interpretation of the caller intended issue to the simulated caller dialog. An understanding determination result based on an intent determination recognition score is generated by an intent determination recognition model is generated in response to a comparison of the CSR interpretation of the caller intended issue matching the caller intended issue in the simulated caller dialog. A CSR score is generated for the scenario based on the understanding determination result. The CSR score is recorded to a database.

The method may further include applying transaction rules to the consolidated order to determine whether the consolidated order is eligible for a single input authorized checkout; and responsive to determining whether the consolidated order is eligible for the single input authorized checkout, presenting to the user via a user interface, a prompt for the user to complete the consolidated order using the single input authorized checkout.

In some implementations, the method may include receiving an order containing a retail component and a pharmacy component, processing the order for the pharmacy component and the retail component, and generating a tracking token identifying the order and authorizing a party to receive a component of the order. The method may include transmitting fulfillment instructions to a fulfillment system based on processed information for the order, and transmitting the tracking token to a computing device of the authorized party. Some implementations may also include receiving a signal indicating receipt of the tracking token and an authorized transfer of the component, and updating a status of the order based on the received signal.

Abstract: Example systems and methods provide dynamic generation and display of workstation assignments in a pharmacy information system. A plurality of electronic workstation displays are in network communication with a workstation assignment engine configured to generate workstation assignments for employees assigned to the workstations displays and store a schedule record. Based on various triggers, workstations identified in the workstation assignments display the workstation assignments on a graphical user interface portion of the workstation displays. Dynamically generated changes to the workstation assignments in the schedule record may be generated and displayed in response to real-time change in coverage events.
