The adhesive layer includes a first adhesive portion engaging the lower surface of the leaflet and a second adhesive portion engaging the lower surface of the tab member. At least a portion of the leaflet does not overlie the tab member. The label may include a laminate cover overlying the upper surface of the leaflet and including a laminate tab portion overlying the exposed portion of the tab member.

The closure portion and the pull tab portion are separated from one another by a cut line therebetween. A varnish coats the upper surface of the closure portion. The label further includes a laminate cover including a first laminate portion overlying the closure portion, a second laminate portion overlying the pull tab portion, and a third laminate portion overlying the leaflet. The label further includes a laminate adhesive including a first adhesive portion releasably and resealably securing the first laminate portion to the varnish on the upper surface of the closure portion, and a second adhesive portion securing the second laminate portion to the upper surface of the pull tab portion. The hanger member includes an attachment portion having a lower surface and a hanger portion having a lower surface. The hanger portion defines an opening adapted to receive the support. A first, permanent adhesive coats the lower surface of the attachment portion to substantially permanently adhere the attachment portion to the substrate and a second, non-permanent adhesive coats the lower surface of the hanger portion to temporarily adhere the hanger portion to the substrate. Alternatively, a second, permanent, patterned adhesive may partially coat the hanger portion to temporarily adhere the hanger portion to the substrate. A base label may be provided.

A discrete patch of leaflet adhesive is applied to the upper surface of the release liner. The leaflet adhesive patch has an end edge. The leaflet is applied to the release liner and the leaflet adhesive patch such that a first portion of the bottom panel overlies the leaflet adhesive patch and a second portion of the bottom panel adjacent the fold line extends beyond the end edge of the leaflet adhesive patch.

The second web is married to the first web such that a portion of the lower surface of the second web is secured to the upper surface of the first web by the second adhesive. Abstract: A method for forming a unitary assembly of a plurality of unitary, multi-panel, folded leaflets. Opposed end edges of the leaflets are positioned adjacent one another. A first continuous adhesive coating is applied, preferably by spraying, onto first end edges of the leaflets and portions of the leaflets adjacent the first end edges and a second continuous adhesive coating is applied, also preferably by spraying, onto second end edges and adjacent portions of the leaflets. In a method for forming a plurality of the assemblies of leaflets, a divider bar is inserted between selected leaflets prior to application of the adhesive coatings such that at least two leaflets are disposed on either side of the bar. Upon removal of the divider bar, portions of the adhesive coatings are removed from between the selected leaflets. Also disclosed are an assembly of booklets and a method for forming the same.

The label includes a base label having a base adhesive on the lower surface thereof. A connector strip is secured to the upper surface of the base label along a longitudinal edge by at least one adhesive patch. A hanger is secured by the legs thereof to the connector strip. The hanger is foldable between a stored position wherein the hanger lies adjacent the upper surface of the base web and a hanging position wherein the hanger is folded away from the base label for receiving the support through the opening. A remaining portion of the upper surface of the base label is not covered by either of the connector strip and the hanger when the hanger is in the stored position. The label may further include at least one removable self adhesive secondary label forming a part thereof.
