  • Patent number: 4386675
Abstract: A drive means is described which includes an electric motor which is pivoted in a substantially balanced position by a biasing means above a wheel of a vehicle. When the motor is actuated, the reactive torque generated causes the output drive shaft from the motor to engage the wheel of the vehicle. When the motor is deactivated, the biasing means forces the drive shaft out of engagement with the wheel.
