  • Patent number: 11374428
Abstract: A renewable energy generation system includes a drive motor, a flywheel in mechanical communication with the drive motor, a generator in mechanical communication with the flywheel, a charge controller in electrical communication with the generator, a plurality of charge controller switches in electrical communication with the charge controller, a plurality of batteries in electrical communication with a respective charge controller switch, and a power management module in electrical communication with the plurality of charge controller switches. The drive motor effectuates rotation of the flywheel to generate stored rotational energy which is transferred to the generator as a load is placed upon the generator to maintain a constant speed of the drive motor. The power management module selectively opens or closes a charge controller switch to permit or inhibit the flow of electrical energy to a respective battery to reduce the electrical load placed upon the generator and drive motor.

  • Patent number: 9307133
Abstract: An imaging system for increasing image resolution is provided. In one embodiment, the system comprises a camera lens, beam splitters, color image sensors, multiple-DOF (degree of freedom) actuators, and a computational unit. One beam splitter receives light from the camera lens, and each color image sensor receives a split light beam from one of the beam splitters. The color image sensors are configured to individually sense a scene with different focus to yield captured images. Each actuator connects to an individual color image sensor for translating and rotating the individual color image sensor. The computational unit is configured to: compute a geometric transformation among the captured images so as to configure the actuators to align the color image sensors by performing translation and rotation on the color image sensors; and to perform luminance unification on the captured images to output a resultant image.

  • Patent number: 4274206
Abstract: A go/no go pipe deflection gauge to be pulled through a pipe to determine whether the pipe wall has been deflected from a substantially circular cross-section. The gauge includes a spindle having an axis of length and a pair of ends. A cable can be connected to both of said ends so that the cable can pull the gauge through a pipe, and pull it back out if it becomes stuck. A plurality of vanes extends radially from the spindle. The vanes are angularly spaced from one another and extend parallel to the spindle axis. Each of the vanes has an outer boundary which includes a central substantially straight segment parallel to the axis, and a pair of end segments extending from the respective ends of the central segment toward the axis.
