    Abstract: The invention relates to a series of novel silicone esters of hydroxy acids. The compounds of the present invention are prepared by reacting a the hydroxyl group in a silicone polymer with a hydroxy acid selected from the group consisting of lactic acid and glycolic acid. The compounds of the present invention find use in skin care products and other personal care products.
