    Abstract: The invention is directed toward a process for conditioning hair and skin, using a silicone polyphosphate that has between 6 and 20 phosphate groups in the molecule. The compounds having multi-phosphate groups have been found to be surprisingly effective conditioners when compared to compounds having fewer or no phosphate groups present.
