Abstract: A filter device for filtering insoluble material which is used in the preparation of beverages, in particular for filtering tea leaves or ground coffee, includes a steel body having a plurality of filter openings and a plastic part composed of an injection-moldable plastic. The plastic part includes a connecting portion that may be injection-molded around the steel body. A recess is located in the connecting portion. The recess is at least partially filled by the plastic part or the steel body forms an extension in the connecting portion. The extension projects from the steel body and is at least partially enclosed by the plastic part.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a filter insert (28) for an infusion device (10) for preparing beverages, in particular coffee or tea, wherein the filter insert (28) comprises a wall (30) with a first open end (31) and a second open end (33), the wall enclosing a cavity (32) into which a material used for preparing the beverage is insertable, the wall (30) having perforated sections (34) with a plurality of filter openings (36), and a closure member (44) which is releasably connectable or connected to the wall (30) in the region of the first open end (31) and with which the first open end (31) is closable. Furthermore, the present invention relates to an infusion device (10) with such a filter insert (28).
