Abstract: The present disclosure provides a genetic system utilizing recombinant nucleic acid molecule being incorporated in genetic pathways of a plant to allow controllable expression of a certain gene to obtain a desired phenotype expression. The controllable expression is performed by controllably inducing a certain condition at a certain location of the plant that comprises the recombinant nucleic acid molecule. For example, the condition is typically required to be induced locally by application of a certain hormone, exposure to heat and/or light or any other condition to the plant part according to the characteristics of the expression mechanism of the recombinant nucleic acid molecule. Local induction can be obtained by selective physical application of the required condition on the plant part. Local induction may also be obtained by water that carries an inducing agent, e.g. a hormone, and flowing through the watering system of the plant, applied for example by irrigation.
