Abstract: Panels for making a swimming pool have a globally rectangular planar prefabricated structure delimited by a peripheral frame consisting of vertical and horizontal wings, one of the vertical wings having, suitably distributed over its height, fixing arrangements adapted to cooperate with matching arrangements of the other vertical wing of an adjacent panel. The matching arrangements are selected to enable the panels to be automatically assembled after said arrangements have been engaged under a pressure force exerted in a plane parallel to the vertical wings and to ensure tightness in combination with a profiled shape arranged over the whole length of the vertical wings at their connecting portion with the planar surface of the structure.

Abstract: The device comprises filtration means and pumping means each housed in a compact unit mounted with the panels of a swimming pool basin. The unit includes a compartment (A) housing the filtration means in communication with the water of the basin, and a compartment (B) out of the water which contains the pumping means. The unit includes in the filtration compartment an assembly having first and second 90° elbows for intaking water from the basin. One of the elbows has arrangements for coupling to the bottom of the member containing the filtration means, while the other elbow has arrangements for coupling with a straight element. The unit also includes in the pumping compartment third and fourth 90° elbows for the intake of water. One of the third and fourth elbows is coupled to a straight element, and the other elbow of the third and fourth elbows is connected to a delivery side of the pumping means. Abstract: A filtration unit for a swimming pool having a basin. The unit includes a filtration compartment that communicates with the water in the basin and is secured to a side wall of the pool. The filtration compartment is spaced apart from a pumping compartment by a passageway. The passageway possesses a water-tight wall and sealed connections for the pump's suction and delivery pipes. The two compartments are closed by a lid which has perforations over a third duct compartment that communicates with the pumping compartment whereby ambient air can freely enter the duct. In one application of the invention the unit can be straddle mounted upon the wall of an existing pool. In another application the unit can be integrated into a sidewall of a pool as the pool is being erected.

A filtering unit is contained in one compartment (A) and contains pool water to be filtered. An adjacent compartment (B) contains a pump having a inlet connected to the filtering unit. A cover encloses the three compartments and has perforations that permit cooling air to enter compartment (C) and thus pass into compartment (B) to cool the pump.
