    Abstract: A herbicidal formulation comprising a salt, such as a metal halide; a microbiological food, such as a carbohydrate; a detergent and an oxidant, such as hydrogen peroxide, all mixed into a solution with a diluent. The herbicide provides a method of controlling plants by applying to a target plant the formulation which then dessicates the plant and selectively promotes the growth of pathogens whereby the target plant is overcome and perishes.
