Abstract: A drum rug lays flat for a performance, and includes a rigid drum stop extending upwards from the front edge to prevent the bass drum from edging forward during a performance. The drum rug includes left and right flaps that can be releasably connected to drum rug left and right edges to form an enclosure, with the flaps forming the ends of the enclosure and the body of the drum rug forming the sides of the enclosure. Equipment can be placed in the enclosure for carrying, and the drum rug can be laid flat to support drums for performances.
