Abstract: Disclosed are a method and system for providing map information by a terminal supporting a navigation function, and more particularly, variably displaying map information as a streaming image map or an embedded vector map according to a travel state in a route guide service. Accordingly, since the present invention variably supports two-type map information including the embedded vector map and the streaming image map in the navigation function, it is possible to use map information through the streaming image map when a detailed, clear image is needed, and it is possible to use a route guide service through the embedded vector map providing more accurate and general map information while moving. In order to reduce a call waiting time for an mVoIP call, when a call is an initial call after power of a terminal is turned on or using the main call number, information for a call connection is acquired in advance and a light weight session is maintained. When the mVoIP call is made later, the maintained light weight session is used to make a direct P2P call. Therefore, it is possible to reduce a call connection time. As a result, a call waiting time is significantly reduced and thus it is possible to provide a rapid response and improve user satisfaction. When the light weight session is maintained, access to a separate server system is not performed. As a result, it is possible to connect a P2P call even when call traffic is heavy.

By separating the coding units into different modules and employing the techniques of parallel processing and pipelining, the present invention makes it possible to effect high-speed encoding with reduced delay in the coding rate due to differences in the processing speeds of the respective modules.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for measuring a location of a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader by using beacons, and an RFID system for measuring a location of a moving RFID reader in an RFID system comprising: a plurality of beacon devices for emitting beacons; an RFID tag for transmitting pre-stored information by using radio frequency identification; and an RFID reader for calculating a current location using a plurality of at least three beacons wherein the RFID reader receives the plurality of beacons from the plurality of beacon devices while moving, and receiving the information from the RFID tag by using the radio frequency identification. According to the present invention, it is possible to increase the accuracy of the location measurement of a moving RFID reader in an RFID system because the location of the RFID reader is measured in consideration of propagation environments.
