    Abstract: A contact finger includes a connection member and a contact member. The connection member is connected to one end of a cable, while the contact member is intended for contact with a corresponding contact member on a second contact finger. A transverse, ridge-shaped portion is provided at the front end portion of the contact member. The contact member is moreover provided with a series of grooves for improved contact efficiency. A contact device according to the present invention includes a contact finger in accordance with the above.
