Patent number: 8608015Abstract: A device capable of storing beverages is provided with a base and a lid. The base includes a central cavity capable of retaining beverage containers and a cooling component. The bottoms of beverage containers may rest in container-retaining pockets molded into the bottom of the base and the tops of beverage containers may rest in one or more pockets protruding from the lid. One advantage is that the beverage containers may come into direct contact with the cooling component located in the central cavity of the base of the device.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2012Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Assignee: Innovative Plastech, Inc.Inventors: Tracy C. Method of making a stretch/blow molded article (bottle) with an integral projection such as a handle
Patent number: 7153455Abstract: The method involves making a hollow blow molded thermoplastic article having an integral handle. An unblown preform of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is inserted into a blow mold and thereafter stretched by a stretch rod. Blow gas is then injected into the interior of the preform when the blow mold is closed and the preform is at a stretch temperature. After the preform is blown into the shape of the bottle in the mold, blow gas is discharged from the stretch rod onto an interior wall surface where the handle is to be formed. Heated movable mold segments are then advanced within the blow mold from a first retracted position to a second position thereby compressing an interior wall surface of the article into contact with a facing interior wall surface of the bottle to bond the surfaces at an elevated temperature and form an integral handle extending from the exterior wall of the blow molded article.Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 2004Date of Patent: December 26, 2006Assignee: Sabel Plastechs Inc.Inventor: Samuel L. Belcher -

Patent number: 4454734Abstract: A sleeve for use in the treatment of textile threads and yarns including dyeing having a shell wherein the shell comprises peripherally extending spaced apart rings which are elastically yielding in the axial direction of the shell and spaced-apart webs which are elastically yielding in the axial direction of the shell, connecting the rings, the axially consecutive webs being laterally offset relative to each other whereby when the rings and webs are yielding, the rings become serpentine and the webs become bowed, at least selected ones of the webs being adapted to bow in a selected common direction generally circumferential with respect to the sleeve to ensure substantially uniform displacement of the sleeve members, thus to provide a sleeve having minimum restriction for passage of dye and which sleeve is substantially rigid in yielded or non-yielded state.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 1982Date of Patent: June 19, 1984Assignee: Plastech, Inc.Inventors: Robert P.
