The spar includes a spar tube and the float includes a generally annular shell defining an opening through which the spar tube extends. The spar tube and the float shell are made of composite material.

Abstract: An anti-theft display case for manufactured products; in particular, display cases that can be opened and re-closed to contain the product to be displayed and provided with means of maintaining the case closed up to completion of sale, so as to prevent the unauthorized removal of the product. The anti-theft display case is provided with at least one first portion and one second portion, one mobile in relation to the other between an open and a closed position, and a means of locking said portions in the said closed position. The second portion is formed from at least two pieces bound one to the other and mobile one in relation to the other telescopically to increase the volume of the display case.

Abstract: A filter comprises a main tank and at least two separate beds of particulate filter media contained in respective conical recipients integrated within the main tank so as to minimize the overall height and weight of the filter. A transport pipe is provided for each conical recipient in order to transport dirty filter media therefrom to a washing device in which the dirty filter media is washed as it flows downwardly in counter-current with a wash liquid. A filter media return pipe is provided for each conical recipient in order to return the cleaned filter media therein. The provision of multiple transport pipes and return pipes ensures efficient distribution of the filter media within the filter.

Abstract: A clip for displaying cards is disclosed that has a plurality of protrusions for gripping the card disposed between a plurality of wall portions. Insertion of the card between the wall portions deflects the protrusions. The protrusions need not extend the length of the clip nor do they need to be linear. The protrusions can be intermittent and/or be at an angle to a longitudinal axis of the clip.

Abstract: An anti-theft device has a plate for hanging it and a link. The link is arranged to form a closed loop over a bridge of a pair of eyeglasses. A fastener belonging to the plate receives a free end of the link. It is only releasable with a special tool. The link consists of an element of flexible plastic material and of a reinforcement.
