Abstract: A multilayer film is described made of recyclable thermoplastic material comprising a layer (A) of unoriented amorphous PET combined with at least one barrier layer (B) which comprises unoriented amorphous PET, a salt of a transition metal and an oxidizable polyester-ether, in which the quantity of unoriented amorphous PET is at least 95% in weight of the total film and in which the permeability to oxygen is below 10 cc/m2/24 h/atm. The film is particularly suitable for the production of food-grade containers and packages with high barrier effect and high transparency which, at the same time, are fully recyclable in the same application.
